Kevin Neils Tetz grew up elbows deep in Musclecars, trucks, and automotive restoration. Being a gearhead was a childhood birthright and obsession shared with his older brother and three cousins that grew up in his uncles salvage business.  Through High school, Kevin rebuilt his first several vehicles including a 49 GMC truck, and a 68 Ford Fairlane, a 62 F-100 and a 58 F-100, in between band practices and gigs in various Rock and roll bands, which is Kevin’s second passion.   After years of traveling, performing, and recording music throughout the United States and Canada,  Kevin decided
to settle in the Nashville Tennessee area and put down some roots, falling back on his automotive background and experience. After gaining his ASE, ICAR, PPG, &  SIKKENS certification as a collision repair tech, painter, and shop manager as well as operating his own restoration shop, Kevin Launched PAINTUCATION Instructional DVD’s  in 1999, producing the award winning Paintucation instructional series focusing on fundamental automotive restoration and refinish techniques.
