Video Tech Tip Archive

A collection of Kevin's past video tech tips

Percolating

The controversial tip that started it all.  See Kevin as he forces air at 125 psi through a  hose tightened with 500 foot pounds of torque to a 50 gallon drum full of sulfuric acid!  All without eye protection!

(try 5 psi instead of 15 psi)

Precleaning

Sometimes, no matter how much you wipe or clean your panels before spraying, there seems to be renegade stains that show through the final coats of finish, or even contamination while you're spraying that seems to come from nowhere.

Hammer Technique

Striking an object with improper hammer technique will increase the amount of work and energy it takes to accomplish your metal working goals, as well as throwing the earth off it's axis.

Liquid Spray Mask

A great preventative measure for protecting your project from evil overspray! Works great on glass, chrome, non-repaired panels, and washes off easily with regular soap and water.
